In 50 years SELTZ Constructions has trained more than 200 young builders on the Tour de France des Compagnons du Devoir (association offering training and apprenticeships in traditional trades all over France).
Being a “Compagnon”, is about adopting a philosophy that comes from a few simple precepts: passing on know-how, being willing, honest and faithful in your undertakings, being capable of questioning yourself, having a marked liking for the freedom to undertake and think. Beyond know-how, the Compagnons du Devoir convey genuine social skills.
SELTZ Constructions has always been part of this great family of the Compagnons du Devoir.
Daniel SELTZ, company founder, himself became a Compagnon du Devoir. Jean-Daniel Seltz current director of the company, also cut his teeth among the Compagnons. Loyal to the philosophy of mentoring, SELTZ Constructions today has 8 site foremen and 3 works foremen and continue to take and train young intern builders who are members of the Compagnons du Devoir.
